"God has blessed me with the opportunity to serve in youth ministry for these past couple of years. Throughout my time serving, I have recognized the importance of investing in teenagers. My heart's desire is for the youth to personally know God and, through that knowledge, develop an understanding and confidence in who God has made them to be. I am living proof that no matter how far a child may stray, they are never too distant from the grace of God. It is Christ's testimony that prevailed over sin and death, and that's the testimony I pray to never stop proclaiming. In 1 Corinthians 9:16, it says, 'For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel! If I do this willingly, I have a reward; but if against my will, I have been entrusted with a stewardship. So what is my reward? That when I preach the gospel, I may present it without charge, that I may not abuse my authority in the gospel.'"
