I came to taste and see that the Lord was good over at U-turn for Christ Mens Ranch in 2006 and as soon as I came back home i disconnected from God. In four years my life spiral out of control addicted to alcohol and drugs and I ended up losing everything. Finally in 2010 The Lord brought me to my knees in my misery and I surrender my life and went back to U-turn for Christ once more but this time the Lord showed me to build my house upon the rock and gave me the foundation to stand on , which is Jesus Christ himself. When I came back home I got plugged into Calvary Chapel Sun Valley and later on CCBurbank and I started serving. It took another 4 years of relapsing and learning how to grow strong in the Lord. In 2014 once my daughter was born the Lord set me free and delivered me from Alcohol and drugs for good. Then the Lord lead me to join the Chosen Generation Ministry where I learned what true servant hood was and had the opportunity to do prison ministry, the juvenile hall ministry, men’s conferences, bible studies, feed the homeless, toy runs and many other outreaches. Today I have 9 years clean and sober by the grace of God , along with 7 years of serving in ministry. The Lord has allowed me to suffer and to know what it means to be hopeless to the point of no longer wanting to live anymore. So that today i can bring hope and encouragement to the lost and the hopeless. He has sent me out to share the hope that we have in Christ Jesus and to let them know that God can take what was once dead and useless and breath life into them and make them useful for his glory. My heart is to speak life into the broken, the lost , the alcoholic , the drug addicted and to set the captives free in the name of Jesus. God doesn’t call those who are strong , he calls those who are weak, he doesn’t call those who have it all together, he calls the ones who are broken, he doesn’t call the educated , he calls the foolish ones and he doesn’t call those who are able, he calls those who are available for his glory. Amen
